This renovation project focused on updating both the homes ensuite and main bathroom, which were adjacent to one another. We took this as an opportunity to relocate the dividing wall to create more space in the frequently used ensuite.
The sprawling main bathroom, originally featuring a bath that obstructed the doorway and a lower toilet section, was transformed into a compact yet functional space. The updated design includes a spacious, hobless shower with niche storage, a separate back-to-wall toilet, and a vanity offering ample storage – perfect for guests!
In the ensuite, we expanded the shower area, adding a tiled seat and a shower rail which doubles as a grab rail. The positioning of the grab rail allows for seated showering, offering convenience and accessibility. The vanity also received an upgrade with integrated storage for an electric toothbrush and floss machine, while the ceramic-style vanity top with an integrated basin adds a sleek modern finish.
Given our extensive experience with aged care renovations, we were able to offer expert recommendations to future-proof both spaces with non-slip tiles, hobless showers, and strategically placed grab rails to ensure optimal accessibility and safety. Our team were able to design and execute these updates seamlessly.
