Nollamara Custom Made T Shape Ramp

Perth TLC Group designed and constructed a custom-made T-shaped ramp to enhance accessibility for our Aged Care client accessing their Nollamara property. This project involved the removal of the existing handrails at the front step and the creation of a sturdy timber platform with raised edges. The platform measures 2600mm x 1200mm – providing a secure base from which the ramp extends.

The ramp, sloping gently to approximately 2900mm toward the carport, features a treated pine frame and a marine ply base, ensuring durability and support. Bilateral kerbing on both sides enhances safety, while a non-slip additive in the Dulux Weathershield finish offers additional traction. For a smooth transition, an aluminum trim was installed at the base of the ramp.

To further enhance safety, we installed galvanised handrails on both sides of the ramp and platform, mounted securely on the outside of the kerbing. This custom solution not only meets the client’s needs but also ensures peace of mind while navigating the entryway.
