This family bathroom in Doubleview was ready for a fresh start—and we were thrilled to deliver just that. We reimagined the space with a floating vanity, walk-in shower, and inset bath, creating a layout that feels open, functional, and beautifully modern.
To brighten the room, we installed full-height white gloss tiles right up to the cornice, giving the space a clean, expansive feel. The floor tiles, in a soft sandstone tone, wrap seamlessly up the bath hob, visually extending the floor and adding a touch of warmth.
The original layout featured a cramped corner shower near the entry. We relocated the shower to the centre of the room, removing the hob and opening up the space for a more relaxed flow. The bath remains in its original spot but is now slightly larger, fitted with an easy-to-use mixer and swivel spout for added convenience.
Storage was a priority, so we installed a wall-hung vanity with two generous drawers, paired with a mirrored wall cabinet above. For a clever touch, we added a power point inside the cabinet—perfect for discreet toothbrush charging.
To finish, we refreshed the ceiling with a fresh coat of paint, installed energy-efficient LED downlights, and added an exhaust fan to keep moisture in check.
The result? A bright, practical bathroom that the owners are absolutely delighted with—and so are we.
