For this Dianella bathroom project, the focus was on improving accessibility and functionality by modifying the existing shower hob. We began by removing the existing shower screen, door, and entry tiles to make way for a new, more streamlined design. The hob was carefully reduced to 50mm to create easier access without compromising the overall aesthetics of the bathroom.
Once the hob was adjusted, we applied waterproofing to ensure long-lasting durability and protection against moisture. Cream tiles were supplied and installed on the newly lowered hob, seamlessly blending with the bathroom’s existing design. Waterproofing and grouting followed to provide a watertight seal, safeguarding the space from future issues.
To finish off the project, we installed a fully framed fixed-panel shower screen with clear glass (approximately 1800mm x 920mm), adding a sleek, modern touch. This modification not only enhanced the bathroom’s appearance but also improved safety and accessibility for the homeowner, demonstrating Perth TLC Group’s dedication to quality craftsmanship and thoughtful Aged Care design solutions.
