Our team recently completed the installation of this custom American Oak timber handrail for our City Beach client, providing a safe and durable handrail whilst complementing the existing character of their home. The handrail follows the full stairwell, including the lower flight, landing and upper stairs, creating a continuous and practical solution for everyday use.
Constructed from American Oak, the handrail was pre-stained in a Dark Oak finish prior to installation to achieve a consistent finish across the entire length of the rail. It was then installed on polished brass offset brackets, with each bracket carefully positioned to provide a strong, secure fixing and a clean finish along the full length of the staircase.
The completed handrail not only provides safety when using the staircase but blends seamlessly with the home’s interior creating a feature that is both practical and visually appealing.
