At Perth TLC Group, we specialise in creating functional and stylish solutions for homeowners who need improved access around their property. For this project, our client required a custom platform and ramp to run off the rear of their granny flat, making it easier and safer to access the space. We began by setting out and digging the foundations for the new structure, ensuring a stable and secure base for the platform and ramp.

The subframe was crafted from CCA H3 treated pine, known for its strength and resistance to harsh outdoor conditions. To ensure long-lasting durability, we used marine-grade Formply to create both the platform and ramp, providing a smooth, sturdy surface. For a sleek finish, we applied Dulux Weathershield in black, adding an ultra-grip additive to the topcoat for enhanced safety, especially in wet conditions. To complete the project, aluminum was installed at the base of the ramp, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition from the ground to the ramp.

We have been using Peter and his Perth TLC Group team for years for everything from small repair jobs like storm damage, replacing guttering or installing (massive!) in-ground basketball towers to the entire refurbishment of four double bedrooms.
