To enhance his day-to-day movement, we installed a custom-made recycled rubber ramp that provides both durability and ease of use. The ramp was specifically designed to be 150mm high, 900mm wide, and 1500mm deep, ensuring ample space for smooth and secure access.

In addition to the main ramp, we also installed two custom-made recycled rubber wings, each 150mm high, on either side of the ramp. These wings offer extra support, providing a gradual and stable transition from the ground to the ramp, reducing the risk of tripping or accidents. This thoughtful installation not only enhanced the functionality of our client’s home but also significantly improved his ability to navigate his property with confidence.

For this project, our client required a custom platform and ramp to run off the rear of their granny flat, making it easier and safer to access the space. We began by setting out and digging the foundations for the new structure, ensuring a stable and secure base for the platform and ramp.

The subframe was crafted from CCA H3 treated pine, known for its strength and resistance to harsh outdoor conditions. To ensure long-lasting durability, we used marine-grade Formply to create both the platform and ramp, providing a smooth, sturdy surface. For a sleek finish, we applied Dulux Weathershield in black, adding an ultra-grip additive to the topcoat for enhanced safety, especially in wet conditions. To complete the project, aluminum was installed at the base of the ramp, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition from the ground to the ramp.

This walk-in shower conversion project was all about creating a more accessible and modern bathing experience for our client. We began by removing the existing shower screen, bath, and hob, followed by decommissioning the bath taps. The removal of cut tiles from the walls and floor allowed us to prepare the space for new installations.

To ensure proper drainage, we set up a new waste system for a channel drain and installed new concrete with the perfect fall to guide water efficiently into the drain. After screeding and waterproofing the shower recess, we installed the client-supplied floor and wall tiles, giving the space a fresh, polished look.

For enhanced functionality, we supplied and installed a custom corner shelf with grab rail, as well as a new shower hose, also equipped with a grab rail to ensure added safety. Finally, a fully framed shower panel (approximately 710mm x 1800mm) was installed to complete the walk-in shower conversion.

For this Dianella bathroom project, the focus was on improving accessibility and functionality by modifying the existing shower hob. We began by removing the existing shower screen, door, and entry tiles to make way for a new, more streamlined design. The hob was carefully reduced to 50mm to create easier access without compromising the overall aesthetics of the bathroom.

Once the hob was adjusted, we applied waterproofing to ensure long-lasting durability and protection against moisture. Cream tiles were supplied and installed on the newly lowered hob, seamlessly blending with the bathroom’s existing design. Waterproofing and grouting followed to provide a watertight seal, safeguarding the space from future issues.

To finish off the project, we installed a fully framed fixed-panel shower screen with clear glass (approximately 1800mm x 920mm), adding a sleek, modern touch. For this Floreat project, the aim was to create a sleek and functional timber ramp at the front entrance, improving accessibility while maintaining a polished look. We constructed the ramp using a treated pine frame for durability, topped with a marine ply base to withstand the elements and ensure a long-lasting structure.

To enhance the ramp’s durability and aesthetic, we applied Dulux Weathershield in black, incorporating a top coat with ultra grip additive for extra traction and safety. This provides not only a stylish finish but also a non-slip surface, ideal for safe daily use.

To complete the project, we installed aluminum trim at the base of the ramp for a smooth, seamless transition from the ramp to the ground. This ramp not only boosts accessibility but also integrates beautifully with the property’s front entrance, offering a practical yet refined solution. We began by removing the front garden bed to make space for the new structure. The ramp itself, approximately 5.8m long, was built using CCA H3 treated pine for enhanced durability and resistance to outdoor elements, ensuring longevity even with frequent use.

Spanning approximately 12m, the bespoke handrail was expertly crafted to follow the natural curve of the steps, creating a seamless blend between functionality and modern design.

The existing shower hob was reduced to a height of just 50mm, making it easier for the client to step in and out of the shower area. To ensure durability, comprehensive waterproofing was applied to the modified hob, followed by precise tiling using cream tiles with a sleek rounded white trim.

To further enhance accessibility, we installed a new, custom-sized shower screen that was reduced in width, allowing for a larger entryway into the shower. A new rod and weighted shower curtain were added to provide functional and stylish protection from excess water spray.
